Organizing Pages in OneNote

Notebooks and sections can easily add up with pages filled with notes. These pages can be organized into a hierarchical structure for easy reference. We can indent pages below other pages. Pages can also be moved up or down.

Indenting Pages

Over time we will be creating several pages in notebooks and sections. On of the ways we can organize these pages is by indenting them below other pages.

Right click on a page and select the increase indent option.

This subtle indention provides a good visual for organizing notes and information.

Ordering Pages

Pages can be moved up or down by clicking and dragging the page in that direction. An orange line will appear where the page will be placed when released.

Repeat this process for any page that needs to be moved.
