The Control center on iPhone or iPad has its own set of preferences. In Settings we can click on the Control Center option.
We have two options. The first is to allow access to the Control Center on a locked screen. This is on automatically. If it were not on, we would need to enter our password to access these tools in the Control Center.
Why wouldn’t we want to access these tools on a locked screen?
There are some tools you might not want anyone to access from the lock screen. These include the camera, AirDrop and AirPlay.
The second option is to allow access from within apps. This means that you can still access the Control Center while using any app. If this option is turned off, you will need to be out of an application to access the Control Center.
